Anita's Biscotti FAQs
What is the shelf life of your biscotti?
Because of their low moisture content, our biscotti
have a three month shelf life. Keep them away from
direct sunlight and they will maintain freshness for
weeks. Keep them in their wrappers in an airtight
container or bag -- you can refrigerate or freeze them.
If you refrigerate them, they'll stay fresh up to 4
months and if frozen, they'll be fresh up to a year. If
you like a crisper biscotti, simply toast in a 250
degree oven for a few minutes. If you prefer your
biscotti a little softer, microwave on half power
(defrost setting) for about 30 seconds. Never
microwave or bake the biscotti in the cellophane
packaging.
Do you have a Nutrition Label for your
products?
We're working on that right now and will have it
available to the public shortly.
Are you FDA approved?
Yes, we are and passed with flying colors. We wanted
to make sure that everything is as it should be and
that we're crossing all our t's and dotting our i's.
What kind of ingredients do you use?
We only use the finest ingredients that we can find
on the market. Because our biscotti are made by hand,
we carefully measure and treat each batch as if we
are making it for our families. Each batch has to
be perfect. If it doesn't measure up, we just don't
sell it.
Anita,
How do you package your products?
Our biscotti are sealed in clear cellophane to keep
their freshness and to adhere to the FDA standards.
We carefully package everything to keep the cookies
fresh and, more importantly, to keep you safe.
