Gourmet Shop Event Direct Sales FAQs

Are the products the same as in the brochures?
Are the prices the same as in the brochures?
How much profit will our organization make?

How do we motivate our customers to come to the event?

Question: Are the products offered the same as in the brochures? 
Answer: Yes

Question: Are the prices the same as in the brochures?
Answer: Yes

Question: How much profit does our group make?  
Answer: This figure depends on how successful you are getting your customers to buy multiples. The focus should be on the average sale per customer NOT the percent per customer. A larger sale per customer nets a larger percent per customer. For example an average sale of $30 will net a larger profit than an average sale of $7.00 per customer. The difference in the amount you take to the bank PER SALE can be very dramatic. You needs to attract as many customers and encourage each one to support your organization with purchasing several flavors (minus any expenses you might have to incur).

Question: How much do the products cost & what is the shipping
Answer: Products are invoiced at the same retail price as offered on the brochure. For fundraisers, we include the shipping in the retail price. However, there is a 100 piece minimum order to receive free shipping.

Question: How much of each product do we order
Answer: For this type of fundraiser, you determine which biscotti flavors and/or trio-biscotti packs you want to sell. For the individual flavors there is a 100 piece minimum. If you want to include trio-biscotti packs in the order, we count the three pieces in a pack as part of the 100 piece minimum.

Question: Can we return any unsold items? 
Answer: No. These are freshly baked products that can't be returned to a shelf. So when ordering, please keep in mind that you will be responsible for payment for the entire order. Therefore, when ordering it is extremely important that you know you will sell what you've ordered.

Question: How do we motivate our customers to come to the event?
Answer: Customers may be organization members or the general public. Contact area retailers who may want to donate products & services that you can give away in a raffle. Another idea is to allocate some of your profits for a grand prize that you give away in a raffle held at the end of the event. Some of the prizes may be gift baskets that you make from our great gourmet biscotti food products. Another way is to get the word out: press releases, newsletters, email campaigns, etc.

Another consideration will be when and where the event will be held. Convenient location, available parking, competing events, etc. all need to be considered.

We take care to insure that your order is secure. We use a secure server and all credit card transactions are secure through PayPal and Authorize.net.

Orders are shipped within 5-10 business days (business days do not include Saturday and Sunday) as each order is baked fresh. Please add an additional 3 to 10 business days for shipping. If you haven't received your order at the end of that time, please contact us and we will gladly help track your order. During the warmer months, we do not ship on Thursday unless we're guaranteed that you'll receive the order next day. We never ship on Fridays so that your order is never in a warehouse over the weekend. We strongly recommend next day delivery.

If you are ordering any specials or custom packages, please make sure that you specify what flavor you want to order.  If there are no flavors specified, we cannot fill the order in a timely manner.

Cancellations must be requested within 3 business days. If we do not received your cancellation within that time, you may still cancel your order but you will still be charged for the order as these are food stuffs and may not be returned.
